WARNING: work rant ahead, so feel free to skip. I just need to vent.
Okay, the road so far. In May, I quit my job of 5 years, because the workload just got too overwhelming and even though my boss had been promising me for six months that he would get someone to help me, he never did. Also, my department had NINE women and just one man (poor fella), and there was a lot of gossip and jealousy and backstabbing going on. I hate to speak ill of my own sex, but women can really suck sometimes. I just got sick of the whole deal, so I quit and was out of a job for about 4 months. Since October, I've been working for a company that produces machines for the pharmaceutical industry. My department writes the manuals for these machines and also tests them. It's a pretty complex matter, something that takes up to a year to really get the hang of. And I am getting ZERO assistance from my colleagues. I'm left alone at my desk most of the time, with a list of things to do and not a clue where to begin. I won't bore you any further with details. It's all just really frustrating. I know one thing for sure: I am NOT gonna keep working there. But this time I don't want to quit my job before I've found something new. I just hope something better comes along VERY soon, because I don't know how much longer I can handle this crap.
But I already cheered myself up a bit. I went to the mall after work and did some shopping. Nothing like spending a little money to lift the spirits, right? This is what I bought:

- "P.S. I love you". I saw Gerry's beautiful face and I just couldn't resist. I can't wait for the movie to come out. Gerard Butler, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and James Marsters all in one movie? HELL YEAH!
- POTC: At World's End. Johnny. Orlando. Nuff said.
- Tokio Hotel "Schrei Live" and "Leb die Sekunde". What can I say? I love Bill Kaulitz: deal with it, lol! He just fascinates me. He's only 18 (that's 10 years younger than me), so I feel like a bit of a perv, but I can't help it. I think he's HOT. I love his whole look: the hair, the black make-up, the nail polish, the piercings,... And I like singing along to their songs. I gotta say: my German has certainly improved a lot thanks to Tokio Hotel!
- Pussycat Dolls Live in London. These chicks are hot, dude! Great songs, great dance routines, great outfits. And the dvd has all the videos on it too! "Buttons" is my favorite.
- GLAMOUR. I love glossy magazines!! I spend WAY too much money on these, but I just love looking at all the pretty pictures!
Okay, I'm off to watch my brand new dvds!
